Youth Introductory Class

Our comprehensive introductory classes from age 8 (for younger, permission can be given by the coach) cover the essential footwork and bladework of the foil. The classes provide a non-competitive and fun environment for students to learn and practice the sport of fencing. Classes are available three times a week. Beginners can choose to come out either once or twice a week. All equipment is provided.

Youth Intermediate Class

Fencers learn proper stance, footwork, blade work, and basic tactics in this comprehensive class for foil and epee. Exercises and games help to strengthen the body and develop speed and agility. Here fencers are introduced to the Olympic-style, electronic bouting, whilst reinforcing the importance of respect and good sportsmanship. This class offers fencers a chance to pursue their interest in fencing on a recreational level, and also gives them the opportunity to compete at local fencing tournaments. Having your own equipment is highly recommended.

Adult Introductory Class

We learn the tradition of fencing while having fun! Gross and fine motor skills are developed while we play fencing games. With special attention to safety, students learn basic techniques and tactics in a happy, non-competitive atmosphere. This class reinforces the importance of respect and good sportsmanship. Equipment is provided.

Adult Intermediate Class

Our comprehensive adult intermediate classes cover the essential footwork and bladework of the epee and foil.  The classes provide a fun environment for adults to learn and practice the sport of fencing. Classes are available once or twice a week. This class offers fencers a chance to pursue their interest in fencing on a recreational level, and also gives them the opportunity to compete at fencing tournaments. Having your own equipment is highly recommended.

Open Training

Open training is available to all members participating in classes at no additional cost. This time provides an opportunity for fencers of intermediate levels and up to train with each other and also to get a private lesson.

Open Training without class participation is available too. It is only recommended for people with previous fencing experience!
