Welcome Back!

Welcome back to the club or, to those who are new, welcome to Epic Fencing! With everything going on in 2020 we’re excited to have the opportunity to see you and to get you moving as a fencer. Although this year will be a little different – with smaller class sizes, spacing between fencers, no borrowed equipment, and limited tournaments – we’re committed to providing a fun and positive fencing experience
for everyone in a safe an environment.

Attached is some more information on Epic, as well as an outline of our operations for the fall fencing season. Please note that we are doing everything we can to accommodate all of our fencers and have modified some of our operations due to COVID-19 restrictions, and as such we may continue to see some changes as we get in to the fall. We’ll do our best to communicate changes via email and encourage you to keep in touch with me or with the Board representatives.

Please keep in touch and contact me anytime if you any have questions. I’m excited to see everyone in their gear, and to get members active and fencing again!

See you soon,
Peter Drevenka

    Hi there!

I’m an experienced sabreist that just moved from Toronto a couple months ago and been looking for a fencing club. I was wondering if your club does offer sabre? If not, which clubs in Calgary would you recommend to go to?

Thank you and have a lovely day!

    Hi Jennie,
Sorry missed this in the comments, we currently do not offer Sabre at Epic. Gladiators might be your best bet as they have some Sabre, after that Priori might be your best bet. Unfortunatly there’s not much Sabre fencing in Calgary at the moment.
